Accessibility statement

Last updated

At Bioverity, we are committed to ensuring our digital resources are accessible to everyone. We view inclusive design as a fundamental responsibility and work actively to improve the usability and functionality of all our digital touchpoints.

Conformance status

We aim for our content to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines ensure our content is accessible to users with sensory, cognitive, and mobility needs, while ultimately improving the digital experience for all users, regardless of how they interact with our site.

Verification process

We use a combination of automated tools and manual reviews to verify the accessibility of our software throughout the development lifecycle.

Automated testing

Every change to the site is scanned with axe-core, an industry-standard accessibility testing engine. The scan runs on every page against the WCAG 2.2 Level AA rule set so that regressions are caught before they reach you.

Manual verification

Because automated tools cannot capture all aspects of the user experience, we perform regular manual assessments, including:

  • Keyboard navigation: Ensuring all interactive elements are reachable and operable without a mouse, including clear visual focus indicators.
  • Assistive technology: Periodic verification with screen readers (such as VoiceOver) to ensure logical reading order and correct labeling.
  • User engagement: We are committed to a process of continuous improvement and welcome feedback from users with disabilities to help us identify and resolve remaining barriers. If you have experience with assistive technologies and would like to help us validate our accessibility features, we encourage you to reach out.
